COVID-19 Resource List

Jun 01, 2020

With all of the frenzy surrounding the Corona Virus, I thought it would be helpful to come up with a list of resources for you all. From activities to entertain you kids to free tech resources, I hope you’ll find this list helpful.

GOVERNMENT RESOURCES

The SBA is offering low interest rate disaster assistance loans for small businesses impacted by COVID-19. You can find all of that information HERE on the Small Business Administration’s website.

The SBA also has a great resource for small business guidance and loan resources. This guide gives you procedures for small businesses and a lot more! You can find that HERE.

TECH RESOURCES

A lot of tech companies are offering free resources such as webinar platforms and free extended trials for their products. Click the company name for the link to their site.

GOOGLE: Google is offering free access to their Hangouts Meet video-conferencing.

CISCO WEBEX: Allows you a free trial for online meetings up to 100 participants.

FACEBOOK: Facebook is offering small business grants and ad credits for eligible small businesses.

ZOOM: Zoom is a great resource for holding online meetings, and they have a free version as well.

CONTRACT/LEGAL INFORMATION

Check out my blog post HERE on your contracts and what happens if people try to cancel their contract with you or what to do if you need to cancel and event or retreat.

Check out my freebie guide on How to Legally Protect Your Biz in Difficult Times.
This freebie has:

  • A FREE Amendment to Delay Work so you can extend your contract with your clients

  • A ton of information on Force Majeure (“Acts of God”) clauses in contracts

  • What the Impracticability Clause is and if it can help you get out of a contract

  • A chart to walk you through cancelled contracts

You can grab that Freebie HERE

RESOURCES FOR THE KIDDOS

I know most kids are at home… schools are being closed and daycares too. My daughter is at home at the time being as well. It makes is so much harder to work from home when you have your little one wanting your attention. Here’s some resources for you to keep the kids entertained.

Monterey Bay Aquarium has a number of online animal cams to watch the Penguins, sea life and more!

The Discovery Channel has a bunch of educational resources for wildlife.

The Georgia Aquarium has a Beluga cam that’s super cool to leave up in the background.

I also found this Google Doc that has a TON of free activities and ideas for kids to do.

HERE’s a link to a site that has a TON of educational worksheets for children of all ages.

I also have a friend who raves about GoNoodle for getting your kids active and moving.

I hope all of this helps you out during this time. As always, I’m here and available for you as a free resource if you have any questions.

You can book a free 20-minute consultation with me HERE.
